To celebrate this occasion, Fritz Hansen launches the Egg and Swan armchairs with a black coating used for the first time for the frame and in exclusive upholstery fabrics.The Egg™™ and Swan™™ armchairs in the anniversary collection are equipped with a PVD-coated black frame, which is used for the first time in the furniture industry. Grace – Chestnut, is a brand new colour with a distinctive maroon shimmer, designed exclusively by Sørensen Leather for Fritz Hansen. Each Egg and Swan™ armchair in the anniversary collection receives its own anniversary plaque.The Egg™™ armchair by Arne Jacobsen is an eternal Danish design masterpiece. Like a sculptor, Jacobsen created the perfect shape of the bowl by experimenting with wire and plaster in his garage.
