Kay Bojesen Sandman H21 Cm Blue/Light Blue

The nightingale, the shepherdess and the chimney sweep are already on the shelves of the museum shop in Odense and are available at rosendahl.com. They are now joined by the Sandman, whom you will also find in arts and crafts shops. In a light blue nightgown, dark blue pajama pants, slippers and a hat, the sandman stands there with his two umbrellas smiling happily. The colors are limited to calm, cool shades of blue. The Sandman was made of FSC-certified® beech and finished by hand with the precision and care characteristic of Kay Bojesen's wooden figures. The shape was inspired by the original design of the wooden figure Ole from Kay Bojesen's archive – simple and minimalist, yet full of joie de vivre. Ole has now received a new magical and somewhat adventurous element that remains true to the style of Kay Bojesen and, like all his imaginative characters, encourages storytelling.
