Fritz Hansen Pk9 Chair, Black

The unique shape of the PK9 is characterized by three parts of sating-brushed stainless spring steel that act as a column and support the leather seat element. Poul Kjærholm was inspired by a sand print of his wife's bottom from a day at the beach. Later, during the design process, Hanne Kjærholm sat in boxes with clay to find the optimal and most convenient solution.
