The series of LINK candlesticks is a collection of modular candlesticks that can be used and placed individually or put together forming one larger candlestick. The candlesticks are made of aluminium and this is the black version. Here, the LINK candlestick is available in black aluminium and has a stylish and minimalist expression. The candlestick itself is 4 cm tall – the perfect height for the dining table. You can easily adjust the width and volume of the candlestick by moving the modules. An individual single link, as well as several modules combined, will stand out with its sculptural shape. Try out decorating with metals. Aluminium as a material is stylish and tasteful and can be combined with many other objects. Try it out and create a still life with the LINK candlestick combined with a little flea find or a glass vase, e.g., Standing bubble which, with its round shape, will soften the sharp expression a bit. With the LINK candlestick, you can create your very own expression - the modules are easily put together. Change the expression when the need for renewal arises. You can also combine the black candleholder with brass or silver modules. The candlestick is available in 4 anodizations - black, matt gold, matt silver, and shiny silver. You get 3 LINKS modules per package, which holds 4 candles in total. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase individual links as they are packed in sets of 3. To clean the candleholder from wax, place it on a grate in an oven on 60-80 degrees Celsius for around 15 minutes until the wax has melted. Place a tray with baking paper under the grate to catch the melted wax and to make cleaning easier. The candlestick has standard dimensions and will hold, for example, regular candles. You can also use our new coloured glass candles. LINK comes in a discreet cardboard box and is easily packed and shipped. Each package contains 3 modules. The candlestick is made of surface-treated aluminium. The treatment protects the metal from rust and UV rays, so the candlestick will maintain its beautiful black finish over time. Studio About is a Danish design studio and all objects are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen.
