Piliers 01 by French designer Guillaume Delvigne draws on the forms and shapes of his design practice, reinterpreted through rich hand-drawn gradient forms. Transferring from vertical to horizontal masses, the rounded nature of these forms creates a soothing presence to the otherwise heavy, architectural arrangement. Delvigne’s strong use of gradient creates a feeling of depth, playing on the physicality of the two deep red forms as they intersect and interact with one another.
