Fritz Hansen Pk0 A Lounge Chair, Swiss Stone Pine

The PK0 A by Poul Kjærholm was originally designed in 1952 at the beginning of the Danish designer's tenure at Fritz Hansen. The ribbon-like shape of the chair pushed the wood bending techniques of the time to their limits and challenged conventional chair shapes. The sculptural design is reissued in Oregon pine or black-colored ash and equipped with vermilion fasteners as a contrast to the wood.
