Lovely lunch plate in the colour TERRACOTTA/BLUE. The plate is part of the new TABLEWARE collection from Studio About and comes in a set of two. It is partially glazed so that the raw terracotta clay is maintained on the outside and the inside of the plate is glazed in a light blue colour, which creates a playful and contrasted look. The partial glazing creates a tactile and textured feel in the hands and gives a naked and luxurious look. The design is simple and timeless with a flat surface and a small lip edge, which will enhance your food in an elegant way. The combination of the classic design and the playful colour combination of the plate, make it suitable in both a stylish home and a modern and a colourful décor. It will make every table arrangement beautiful and you can make it even more festive by placing a paper flower wrapped around a linen napkin as a napkin ring on the plate. You can also place the plate on top of a bigger plate in another colour, as a luncheon plate. The ceramic is beautiful with other materials such as coloured glass. The lunch plate can be used for smaller meals, desserts or cakes. It is stackable but it can also be used as part of the home décor and is decorative to have on display on a shelf or a table. You can for example place jewellery or perfumes on the plate. The ceramic plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap but is also dishwasher proof. You can use it for microwave and freezer, but it is not suitable for oven. The ceramic is safe for food, including acid. The plate is made from terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts can get traces of usage over time. This is part of the design and will only give the plate character. The ceramic plate is available in the colours IVORY/YELLOW, TERRACOTTA/RED and SAND/GREY and is also available as cups and bowls.
