The stew pot can be used on all stove types and in the oven. Made of carbon steel. The rim does not have an enamel coating due to which variances in color are normal and part of the character of the product. The toothed rim of the stew pot is not dishwasher safe. The product should be dried immediately after hand washing. A thin layer of edible oil should be applied from time to time. Spots of corrosion may appear provoked by longer moisture exposure of the rim. Such corrosion spots are easily removed with rough side of sponge and after that the rim should be dried well and covered with edible oil.
