The Toldbod 500 pendant lamp is just one of the four new sizes launched in 2018. The original Toldbod 120 from 2009 measures 12 cm and was designed to hang individually or in small groups above a table. With a diameter of 55 cm, Toldbod 550 is the largest pendant lamp in the series. It looks very advantageous over a larger table, for which it has sufficient radiance. If you have a long table or meeting room, it also looks nice when multiple lights are placed in a line to create a textured appearance while illuminating a larger area. A lighting concept by Poul Henningsen became the basis of the Toldbod series. His idea was originally intended for street lighting, but it also turned out to be great for indoor lighting. The uniform light is ideal as a dotted work light but also for the general room ambience.
