The PK61™ coffee table is one of Poul Kjærholm's most elemental and minimalist creations. Although the construction is limited to a set of identical components, the angular, aesthetic design has programmatic appeal and demonstrates that Kjærholm has evolved from an industrial designer to a furniture designer. The four frame components are screwed together and contribute to the unique look of the table. The removable tabletop, in turn, shows that Kjærholm uses gravity to position components.
