The PK24™ Chaise Lounge chair, with its simple curves and organic shape, is probably the most outstanding chair designed by Poul Kjærholm. This chair was inspired by the Rococo style and the French chaise lounge (long chair), which had the same curves and the same size. The armchair is the leading and probably most extreme example of Kjærholm's principle of working with independent elements. Therefore, the chair has no physical relationship between the main parts, which are instead held together by gravity and the friction between the individual elements. Kjærholm also called this chair "hammock chair" because you can hang your seat at two points.
