How do we create a bed linen set that fits the Danish design tradition? We at FDB Møbler asked this question to designer Kasper Salto, who then suggested one of the patterns that his grandfather Axel Salto had designed two generations ago. The choice fell on the tulip pattern, which with its simple graphic and decorative expression fits perfectly with the peace and balance that we humans want in the bedroom. Kasper Salto (born 1967) first trained as a cabinetmaker and then studied industrial design at the Danish Design School and the Art Center in Switzerland. He works for a number of leading brand manufacturers in the field of lighting and furniture. The bed linen is made of 100% organic cotton and bears the Nordic Ecolabel.
