Thomas E. Alken aroused his interest in the classic rocking chair, deconstructed it and reassembled it. The result is a modern hunting chair where design and function become a higher unit. The sticks have a new, interconnected logic and almost float above the two shells. It is therefore not surprising that the chair was called Paso, which indicates the flying carpet. The seat is wide enough for company, and the two crossbars at the back allow the storage of reading material or a blanket.
