Design by Christian Troels & Jacob Plejdrup, 2020dk3 was one of the first brands to introduce the plank table to the Scandinavian market in 2009. With the aim of taking this design heritage to a new level, dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup developed the anniversary dining table TEN TABLE together with Danish designer Christian Troels in 2019. The exclusive design is now also available in two round dining table variants, one with extendable wooden table top and one with marble table top. The two new round variants were developed exclusively by Christian Troels and are based on the same design concept as the rectangular TEN dining table from 2019. Christian Troels' designs are characterized by great attention to detail and precision craftsmanship, which in the TEN TABLE merges perfectly with Jacob Plejdrup's basic ideas of large dining tables, such as highlighting the beauty of the natural material in a minimalist way. The cubically shaped solid wood base forms a stable and elegant stage for the table top, bringing a lightness to the table, which is underlined by refined workmanship such as the beautiful vertical grooves of the cube and the sloping edge of the table top.
