The Vega Chair was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1950s and was previously only available at Vega in Copenhagen. The chair, a Danish masterpiece in the modernist style, is now being made accessible to a wider audience at Carl Hansen & Søn in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. The chair can be stacked (up to 8 chairs) and is beautifully made of FSC certified oak. Available with or without front upholstery in textile or leather.Vilhelm Theodor Lauritzen was one of Denmark's most influential architects and a father of Danish modernism. Today, many of his projects are lasting examples of a new and revolutionary approach to architecture, where form followed function.
