TABLEWARE is the newest collection from Studio About. This lunch plate is part of the CLAYWARE series and is in the colour TERRACOTTA/RED. It is partially glazed so that the raw terracotta clay is maintained on the outside and the inside of the plate is glazed with a bright red colour. The plate is designed by Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen and comes in a set of two. It is therefore the perfect housewarming gift or a colourful addition to your plate collection. The colour combination of the plate gives a chic and cheeky expression with the dark brown terracotta and bright red glaze. It gives a raw and retro look, which will brighten up every table arrangement and make it even more festive and exciting to look at. You can also place a paper flower on the plate, or combine the plate with ceramics in other colours or coloured glass for the ultimate festive feeling. The plate is for example beautiful with our rose-coloured wineglass from the GLASSWARE series. The lunch plate can be used for smaller meals, snacks or cakes. When not in use, it is perfectly stackable or you can have it on display on the table or on a shelf as a part of the décor. You can for example place jewellery, perfumes or other personal items on the plate. The ceramic plate can be cleaned with warm water and soap but is also dishwasher proof. It is also suitable in the microwave and freezer but is not safe for oven use. The ceramic is safe for food, including acid. The plate is made from terracotta, which means that the unglazed parts can get traces of usage over time. This is part of the design and will only give the plate character. The ceramic plate is available in the colours IVORY/YELLOW, TERRACOTTA/LIGHT BLUE and SAND/GREY and is also available as cups and bowls.
