Bringing into focus the obsessive approach towards form of French furniture and product designer Guillaume Delvigne, Piliers 03 is bold and highly organic. Constructed from a detailed build-up of hand-drawn pencil strokes in brown, two flowing columns seem to grow and reach out as they move up the composition. Layered through their use of light and shadow, the two solid forms display a spatial sensibility as they move across one another – alluding to an imagined architectural landscape.
