Kay Bojesen's heart beat for everything that makes children and young at heart adults happy. In 1952 he created the friendly bear Ursula, inspired by a small bear cub raised by the zoo inspector and his wife at home. More than 65 years later, it is Kay Bojesen Denmark's turn to be inspired by the old zoo. In April 2019, the beautiful panda was unveiled on the occasion of Copenhagen Zoo's new, groundbreaking panda house. The Panda is made of lacquered, FSC-certified® beech wood and has its own charisma with its characteristic panda features and height of 25 cm.
