What does Danish ceramics look like in 2017? FDB presents its offer with the young ceramist Sarah Oakman, who lives in Nexø on Bornholm. Sarah was inspired by some currents that we know from Danish and Nordic ceramics: the minimalist design language of the 50s, the natural and tinted colors of the 70s and the contemporary fusion and retro. The result is the cone series, which consists of three vases and two bowls, a round and an oval bowl and a bowl. Actually, it was the plan that Sarah Oakman would return to Copenhagen after completing the ceramic line of the design school in Bornholm. But the peace, the light and the colors kept them on the island. Do you recognize some of the colors in the black, white, blue and green tones of the Konus series?
