The cast pendant draws inspiration from functional objects made of cast metal and the graphic qualities of traditional solder weights hanging from a leash used by masons and carpenters in ancient Egypt. Rendered in four different shapes numbered accordingly, Form 1 is small and triangular, while Form 2 has a round expression. Form 3 is elongated and Form 4 contains two pendants, rounded and triangular, suspended from a pole. Versatile and naturally assimilable into the décor of any room or forming a sculptural installation by hanging one lamp individually or grouping several into an eye-catching installation, the Cast pendant lamp embodies Audo Copenhagen's philosophy of gentle minimalism and calm haptics.
