Kay Bojesen Flag Bearer Anniversary, Small

The flag bearer is nowadays a regular guest at the birthday table in many households. And because 2022 will be 80 years since the little figures saw the light of day, the flag bearer will be celebrated in a beautiful way with an anniversary edition bearing a red and gold emblem with the Kay Bojesen logo and a logo specially designed for the 80th anniversary. The 29.5 cm high anniversary flag bearer is made of FSC-certified beech wood and in the high quality craftsmanship that distinguishes the wooden figures by Kay Bojesen. Kay Bojesen first designed the great guard in 1940 for the 70th birthday of King Christian X in honour of the Danish king. At that time, the guards stood guard as meter-tall figures in front of Kay Bojesen's shop in the Bredgade in Copenhagen. In 1942 he designed the smaller figures in a size that gave us all the opportunity to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries in style – and to make Kay Bojesen's original wooden stories our own.
