The chair is simple and characterized by strict lines. A loose "Z" line drawn on paper inspired the back armrests of the chair - an unusual element that deliberately balances the design. The armrests and hind legs are made of one piece of steel - another unique aspect of the design. New armrests provide more comfort, and black, powder-coated frames contribute to the contemporary look. Fritz Hansen reissues the Vico Duo™ chair on the occasion of Vico Magistretti's 100th birthday. Magistretti designed the chair in 1997 in the design department of Fritz Hansen in the midst of his sketches.
