Royal Copenhagen Blomst Plate Camellia, 15cm

The best designs are often characterized by their lightness and accessibility. In the blomst series, the designers have moved away from the traditional central placement of the bouquet motif of the original Blue Flower porcelain. Very modern and yet discreet, all parts of the series are instead decorated with their own flower. On the softly rounded shape of the plate, the hand-painted floral motif can unfold freely, with the blue, asymmetrically placed flower forming a beautiful contrast to the otherwise white surface.
