In 1981, Jette Frölich made her first characteristic paper cuts for the Holmegaard Christmas bottle. In the meantime, more than four decades have passed, in which the articles of the Holmegaard Christmas collection have become not only a popular Christmas tradition for many, but also coveted collector's items. This year, Jette Frölich's reflection on the magic of the Christmas season has led to a beautifully illustrated Christmas collection for Holmegaard, inviting us to celebrate the holiday together. Frölich's interpretation of the atmospheric holidays this year expresses the message of solidarity that we feel particularly strongly at Christmas time in a beautiful and vivid way. At Christmas, the focus is on home. The illustrations on the bottle of the Christmas collection therefore reflect the anticipation that we feel in a cozy atmosphere with family and friends from near and far. On the front is a front door framed by Christmas trees, a staircase with lanterns, Christmas lights, snow and a fence. On the sides you can see through the windows the Christmas tree, decorations and gifts. To underline the feeling of anticipation, you can see children looking into the window. There are also traditions for adults that arouse anticipation. On the side is a classic calendar, so you can look forward to the contents of the bottle day after day in the run-up to Christmas, while December 24th slowly but surely approaches.
