Holmegaard Calabas Duo Vase H21 Cm, Burgundy/Amber

The hand-blown vase of the Calabas series is now available in a unique two-tone version that beautifully reflects its relationship with the two existing colors of the series – amber and burgundy. A special superposition technique is used to make Calabas Duo. The two overlapping colours give the vase an individual character and create an unusually beautiful play of colours that brings out the unique artistic process of glass blowing particularly well. The overlapping colors are a combination of warm amber and cool burgundy. The subdued, calm colours of the vase perfectly highlight any bouquet – whether fresh or dried. The duo vase is 21 cm high and is suitable for a large bouquet of flowers, as its spacious belly absorbs a lot of water, while the narrow waist holds the flowers together.
