Gejst Sapoto Shell, Black

Nothing challenges the skills of the experienced designer more than simplicity. "Sapoto" is Japanese and means "with support". To emphasize the central design idea, Kasper Friis Egelund decided to combine soft organic shapes of sand-cast, polished aluminum with the rough, dark stone, which is not just a pedestal, but beautiful and perfectly present in itself. The plate and bowls are hand-polished and shiny, while the raw sand casting technique forms a beautiful contrast to the dark marble of the base.
