The PEBO® vacuum coffee maker (formerly SANTOS) from BODUM turns coffee making into an experience. Unlike other coffee machines, the water does not simply run from top to bottom through the coffee powder. The PEBO® vacuum coffee maker does not even look like a conventional coffee machine. It consists of two glass containers that are inserted into each other and connected by a glass rod. The desired amount of water is filled into the lower pot and the coffee powder into the upper part. Finally, only the lid has to be put on. Then the PEBO® vacuum coffee maker can be placed on the stove. The water in the jug rises during heating through the glass rod into the upper container with the coffee powder. As soon as the pot is removed from the stove, the finished coffee automatically flows back into the lower pot due to the resulting negative pressure. A fascinating process that is very nice to watch. At the same time, the wonderful smell of coffee unfolds.
