Dishwasher safe.Use and careThe French Press system is the easiest way to brew rich, aromatic coffee. Place the BISTRO NOUVEAU on a flat surface, hold the handle tightly and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe. Add one heaping teaspoon or one bodum spoonful of coarsely ground coffee per cup or 120 ml of water. Pour hot water (about 92–96 ºC) into the carafe, leaving at least 2.5 cm of space at the top, and stir the coffee with a plastic or wooden spoon. Place the plunger on the jug and turn the lid so that the spout is closed to preserve the heat. Let it steep for four minutes, then slowly push down the plunger. Turn the lid to open the spout and pour yourself a delicious cup of coffee. Before first use, clean in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
