Tearoom Club Chair When designing his new, fully upholstered Lounge Chair, Nick Ross envisioned a shape ideal for exclusive hotel, club or lounge environments – as well as private living spaces that pamper the senses and our need for comfortable retreats. Ross' inspiration for the design came from Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Willow Chair, designed in 1904 for the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow. Like many of Mackintosh's furniture designs, the Willow Chair, while undeniably beautiful, is more about visual impact than comfort, its unusual dimensions, making it more of a sculptural installation than a usable piece of furniture. Ross saw untapped potential and decided to further develop the essence of the Willow Chair to create a fully dissolved product. Design: Nick Ross Colour: Savanna 202 Dimensions: LxWxH 58x70x78 cm
