The goal was to create a simple product with an additional function that eliminates the really annoying phenomenon of the paper unintentionally unrolling. At the same time, we wanted a very intuitive user experience, and we wanted to avoid an overly technical look – the latter proved to be quite a challenge due to the wide variation in the paper rolls – size, diameter and roll density," Morten Bo Jensen, Chief Designer at Vipp.
