The two refreshing skiers are designed by Kay Bojesen at the end of the 1940s. This cheerful skier with a red cap and checked jacket is called Buoy, named after the nickname of Kay Bojesen's son Otto. His female counterpart is nicknamed by Otto's wife Ruth – Datti. The two cheeky skiers were only produced in small series, which is why the original wooden figures are rarities.
