Gunnar Flørning Cat Wooden Figure, 15,7 Cm

The popular Danish designer Gunnar Flørning, who is known around the world for bringing life to wood, has designed the Cat. The idea of the Cat came to Gunnar Flørning from a backyard cat that romped around in the rubbish behind the workshop on Svanevej. The Cat is from 1957, and in the 1950s and 1960s it was produced at a workshop on Svanevej in Copenhagen. The Cat was sold in large numbers even back then and is a true classic design from the 1950s. The Cat has been relaunched in 2020 with respect for the original 1950s design.

The Cat is made from painted black wood with maple cheeks and paws. The Cat is 15.7 cm tall.
