Den markant skøre Grand Prix ™ stoledesign af Arne Jacobsen blev introduceret af Fritz Hansen på Designers 'Spring Exhibition på Dansk Museum of Art & Design i København i 1957. Senere samme år blev formanden vist på Triennale i Milan, hvor det Modtog Grand Prix - den fineste sondring af udstillingen - og hvorfra dens navn blev afledt. Oprindeligt blev Grand Prix -stolen introduceret som en fir_x0002_legged stol med en træbase. I dag er stolen nu tilgængelig som en counter -afføring, barstol og drejestol i en lang række mulige basiskonfigurationer i alle standard naturlige finér og alle FH -farver og polstringsmuligheder.
